Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Clawbringer Build: Background And Hero Stats

Once you've built your character, you'll need a suitable background to give yourself a boost to some of the starter stats. For our Clawbringer build, we suggest the Rogue Alchemist, as it gives you a +8 boost to Wisdom, proving you with extra status damage. The downside however is that both your Constitution and Dexterity will be lowered, giving you 12.5% less health and 4% less crit chance respectively. While these are annoying downsides, you'll quickly nullify them and the status damage is huge to the overall build.

For the Hero stats, in the early game, just put all your points into Strength and Wisdom, while sparing a few for Constitution to make back the lost health. In the later game, you can then start to go hard into Attunement for the extra cooldown boost, letting you put out your big damage moves more frequently.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Clawbringer Build: Skills

Before you start choosing your different skills, you need to select an action skill, and we recommend Storm Dragon's Judgement. This lets you summon a hammer and throw it, dealing lightning damage to enemies along the way, and when it lands it deals further lightning damage in an AoE. You can also recall it back, damaging enemies in the path again, and lowering the cooldown.

For the first tier of skills, you should max out Oath of Fire, which lets you deal bonus fire damage with all your guns, along with your Wyvern companion. You can also max out Oath of Thunder instead, which does the same but with lightning damage. Whichever one you max, you should put roughly three points into the other one.

In the second tier, there are two more skills to max out. Dragon Aura surrounds you with a constant aura that grants you and any allies an increase in all elemental damage. Dedication gives you an increased cooldown rate for your action skill, which is further improved by having a higher Ward, which is like your shield.

You should now get the chance to earn your first kill skill - Blasthamut's Favor. This lets you summon elemental orbs that seek out and damage enemies when killing an enemy. Killing an enemy with your gun will spawn a fire orb, while melee kills summon lightning orbs.

Tier four is all about increasing the power and efficacy of your Wyvern companion. Fire Bolt is a one-level skill that will let your Wyvern shoot fire bolts at enemies, which causes AoE damage and leaves behind a fire. Storm Breath is fairly similar, giving your Wyvern a lightning breath attack that can arc from different enemy to enemy. These two skills also give you increased gun damage and damage reduction respectively.

You can max out all the tier five skills, for some cool benefits. Awe gives you bonuses after dealing elemental damage, meaning fire damage gives you increased critical hit damage, and lightning damage gives you increases critical hit chance. Indomitable is a fantastic skill that lets you avoid being down by refilling your Ward and dealing bonus lightning damage, but there is a cooldown.

The final level of this tree is the capstone skill called Storm Smite. Whenever you activate an action skill, you can call down elemental bolts which deal fire and lightning damage to all nearby enemies.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Clawbringer Build: Multiclassing

A little while into the game, once you've finished a mission called Emotion of the Ocean, you'll unlock the multiclassing feature, which lets you choose a different class to combine with your current one. For our Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Clawbringer build, we recommend the Spore Warden for their bonuses to elemental damage and the fact that you can get a second companion.

We also recommend changing to the Barrage action skill as it's more powerful than both Clawbringer abilities. In the first tier of the Spore Warden skill tree, you should max out the Bounty of the Hunt skill. This is a kill skill that improves your action skill cooldown rate briefly. You can also put a few points into Eagle Eye, which gives a flat bonus to gun damage and gun handling.

In tier two, get the Spore Cloud skill to get your second companion online, which is a mushroom that farts and deals poison damage. Affinity is the other skill you should max out for the increased ability damage bonus. Tier three has another vital companion skill called Medicinal Mushroom, which lets your mushroom companion revive you if you are downed. This also gives you increased damage after being revived. You should also max out Quiver of Holding, which increases your maximum size and lets you regen ammo over time.

Your final point can go into anything you want really, but Thrill of the Hunt lets your companions deal increased damage if you get a critical hit, which is doubly useful with your Wyvern and mushroom friend in the mix. Overall, this build should let you deal massive elemental damage, and keep you safe due to your two companions soaking up damage, dealing damage, and providing a distraction.
