25, 1948 MARCH 21, 2011 FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. Gerald Francis Bagniewski, 62, entered into eternal Bagniewski life on March 21, 2011. Gerry was a loving husband, father, Bagniewski grandpa, son, brother and friend. Gerry was born Oct. 25, 1948, in Arcadia, to Eugene and Lucille (Larson) Bagniewski, Growing up, he enjoyed helping with chores on the family farm, showing pigs at the fair, and going on FFA trips.

Gerry graduated from C- FC High School in 1966. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves: training at Fort Bragg, N.C. On May 4, 1968, Gerry married his soul mate, Edith Jenkinson. He was so very proud of their family: Peggy Bagniewski and Jacob Davis, their children, Wes and Madi: Cindy and Bob Bautch, their daughter, Andrea; Stephanie Bagniewski and Frank Peterson; and Amanda Bagniewski, who is engaged to be married to Joe Gillett on June 18.

Over the years, Gerry loved hunting, truck pulls, bowling, throwing horseshoes, motorcycle rides, singing karaoke, and working on projects. He worked for many years at Peerless Chain, and later at the co-op in Alma. Most recently, he enjoyed a volunteer position driving veterans to the VA in Minneapolis, Topping his list was always his wife and family. Gerry loved spending his free time with Edith, especially since she recently retired. They enjoyed their grandchildren, walking hand-inhand, bird watching, puzzies, classic car cruises, attending Mass and par- POLICE Winona THURSDAY 5.15 a.m: Police investigated a report of damage to the locks on a vehicle parked on the 500 block of East Belleview St.

Katlyn Jo Dourget, 22, of Chippewa Falls, and Madonna Daley, 57, Onalaska, were injured in a three vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 61 near the Mississippi River Room, Dourget lost control of her vehicle when it hit an patch, crossing over the median, spinning, around to be struck from behind by the vehicle driven by Daley. Daley's vehicle was then struck by a vehicle driven by Mark Anthony Bricki, 51, Winona, Bricki was not reported injured, ticipating in perpetual adoration at cathedral, and just being together. Gerry's boys were just like sons, he enjoyed four -wheeling snowmobiling, and doing other "guy-stuff" with them.

Gerry was always just a phone call away, ready and willing to step in when anyone needed anything. He brought joy and laughter to all situa tions. Gerry will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents; wife; children; and grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene Jr. (Diane), Richard (Shelley), and Jeff (Pam); four sisters, Diane Ristau (Mike Andring), Debbie Sing (Steve), Karen Ellis (Chris), and Mary Jo Dehnke (Ken Kottmann): and many nieces and nephews.

Gerry was preceded in death by two nephews, Jason Ristau and Aaron Bagniewski. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon on Saturday, March 26, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona. Father Richard Colletti will officiate, Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Gerry will be laid to rest in St.

Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugene Bagniewski Richard Bagniewski, Jeff Bagniewski, Robert Bautch, Ron Gillett, and Gilman Peterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Davis. Bob Bautch, Frank Peterson, Joe Gillett, Diane Ristau, Debbie Sing, Karen Ellis, and Mary Jo Dehnke, Our loss is Heaven's gain. Richard Quentin Hoefs, 84, of Grand Meadow died Tuesday in a truck accident near Des Moines, lowa. He was born June 11, 1926, and grew up in rural Warren Township near Lewiston, Minn. He was united in marriage to Margaret Oldham at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona on June 21, 1947. Together they lived in the Lewiston area until 1963, when they moved to Grand Meadow.

Richard was a lifelong truck driver, driving for Q. Hoefs MARCH 22, 2011 JUNE 56 years. He started at the age of 16 in the Lewiston area hauling milk locally and hauling eggs to Chicago and New York. After moving to Grand Meadow, Richard continued trucking as an owner operator until 1993. At that time, he started driving for Stier Farms (leased by Jacobson Transportation Co.

of Wahpeton, N.D.) until the time of his death, He is survived by his children, Edward (Rosemary) Hoefs of Hayfield, James (Susan) Hoefs of Lewiston, Karl (Deborah) Hoefs of Spring Valley, Cynthia (Joel) Goodell of Humboldt, lowa, Kenneth (Ann) Hoefs and Barbara (Leon) Russell of Grand Meadow, 12 grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.
