6, 1940, in Geneseo. She later married Joseph R. Beadle on May 22, 1950, in Pittsfield, HI. She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1936 and St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Rock Island in 1939.

She worked as a registered nurse for Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo for 23 years and later worked for Galesburg Cottage Hospital for 13 years. She retired in 1976. She was a 30-year member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Galesburg and Women's Auxiliary of Galesburg Rescue Mission. She is survived by her husband; a son, John (wife, Sydney) Oberle, Naples, a daughter, Sandra K. (husband, John) Verplaetse, Cambridge; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick "Rick" Oberle, on Oct. 23, 1990; and a sister. Elizabeth Fuller Elizabeth M. She was united in marriage to Charles Fuller in 1972 in Orion. He preceded her in death in 1995. Elizabeth had been employed as a CNA at Hillcrest Nursing Home for 15 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Geneseo Kitchen Band. Elizabeth loved collecting all collectibles and enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include one daughter, Connie Logue, Geneseo; one son, Ronnie Logue, Rock Island; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Gustafson, Moline, Violet Hawotte, East Moline; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. O'Malley was born Feb. 19, 1917, in Rock Island, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Boden Bredar. She married Marcel Rodts on May 4, 1940, in Rock Island. He died Dec.

19, 1954. She then married Walter O'Malley, June 5, 1957, in Rock Island. He died May 25, 1981. Along with being a homemaker, Mary was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, past president of the Altar Rosary Society, the Ladies Blue Cross Mission of St.

Ambrose and the Willabees. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also was involved in quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting, along with gardening. She volunteered as an election judge for many years. Survivors and spouses include her daughters, Betty Rodts and close friend, Tom Crowder, Rock Island; Rosemary and James Treo-nis, Longboat Key sons, John and Dolores Rodts, Milan, Richard and Barbara Rodts, Kansas City, Fred and Julie Rodts, Milan; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Welch, Mauritia Theus, Antoinette Mangold; brother, Herman Bredar; along with many nieces and nephews.

Jean was born Dec. 15, 1940, in Moline, the daughter of Eldon and Mary Louise Hendrix LeMaster and was raised by Alan and Mary Louise Hendrix Swisher. She married John "Jack" Lowe in Rock Island on Dec. 20, 1958. He died in May 2000.

Jean was a housewife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church as a Sunday school teacher, Hand Bell Choir, Miriam Circle, United Methodist Women's Group and recently reelected as the Sunday school superintendent. Jean enjoyed needlepoint, puzzles, crafts, knitting, sewing for the grandchildren, Friday night card games and spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. I-The former Dorothy E. Friel was born March 19, 1918, in Hamilton County, 111., a daughter of Thomas Friel and Mary Mayberry Friel. She married Lester R. French on May 28, 1937, in McLeansboro, 111. He preceded her in death in 2000.

She retired from the former McCabes Department Store, Rock Island, where she was the credit manager for many years. Robert Jagger Robert A. Jagger, 81, of Rock Island, died peacefully at his home Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, Rock Island.

Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Orion, where military honors will be presented by Moline American Legion Post 246. Jagger was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Rock Island, the son of Arthur and Winifred Blythe Jagger. He married Rosemary J. Dahl on Oct. 26, 1946, in Orion.

She died on Oct. 8, 1994. Bob graduated from Rock Island High School in 1944 and attended Augustana College. He had been a standardization engineer with the JI Case Co. for 40 years and retired in 1988.

In early years, he was water director for Camp Hauberg. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Bob was a member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Island, where he had served on the church council. He was a member of Moline American Legion Post 246, the Rock Island Golden Kiwanis Club, and the Rock Island Moose. He was a former member and past vice president of the Rock Island Jaycees.

Bob was a volunteer with a bowling league for the handicapped, through the RSVP program, and also a volunteer with Special Olympics had been involved with the Island YMCA and the John Hauberg Club. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. He was an avid bowler, fisherman and golfer. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Chris Jagger, Rapids City; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Joe Maxwell, South Barrington, grandchildren (and spouses), Rebecca (Michael) Rodriguez, Schaumburg, 111., Suzanne (David) Blakely, Schaumburg, Christine Maxwell, Evanston, 111., Laura Jagger, Chicago, and Keith (Eve) Jagger, Wilmore, Ky; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Grace Rodriguez, Brandon, Ryan and Kyle Blukeiy and Claire Jagger; and his sister, Dorothy Brennan, Rock Island. Katherine was born Nov. 21, 1942, in Grafton, W.Va., to Clarence Eugene and Myrtle Ellen Lee Dever Dodge. She married Curtis Shaffer on Sept. 8, 1959, in Oakland, Md. Katherine was a secretary and computer graphic artist for 11 years at Moline Gospel Temple.

She was also a Sunday school teacher for the primary grades at Moline Gospel Temple. She made Thanksgiving boxes and was involved in Operation Blessing. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, and was known for being a giving person. She also collected sea shells.
