I have made these so many times and they are truly amazing. To funny to see how many people say they cant taste the cream cheese. Thats because you arent supposed to taste it! My family asks for me to make these once a month and my kids and their friends are obsessed! Great recipe!

I’ve been using this recipe for years. I laugh every time I read the review that mentions that you can’t taste the cream cheese. You’re not supposed to be able to taste the cream cheese. That’s like saying, “I can’t taste the vegetable oil in my chocolate cake.” 🙃These turn out amazing every time. I weigh my cookies rather than use a scoop. I found, for my family, the 2 inch scoop produced cookies that were too big. So I do 2 oz cookies. Also, I have to bake mine for 10 minutes. I know the recipe is adamant that you stop at 8 minutes but my oven must be a little different. My cookies never get a golden top or edges but the bottom is golden and the cookies are soft.

We couldn’t taste the cream cheese, the directions are missing steps, such as when to add the egg. Luckily I am a professional so I knew when to do that. Some younger bakers might not. Then, the oven temperature is missing. Again, I knew at what temperature to bake at. For those that might not know, bake at 350 degrees. Add the egg with the sugars, butter, cream cheese.

Amazing cookies I always let my dough cool in the deep freezer for about 45 minutes and it always helps my cookies stack thicker and fluffy easy and delicious even with a few margaritas in already lol!

These make perfect cookies! The cream cheese was hard to taste but it made the inside wonderfully gooey. I added a handful of butterscotch chips to the chocolate chips and it added a nice subtle taste. I'll definitely be making these again!

This was the second tome I made these the first time they turned out like little balls the second the looked more like a cookie. I think the second time I mixed the batter too long and it made the dough softer. They were still very good and tasted great I would highly recommend this cookie.

BEST ever! My cookies turn out different each time but with these, everyone in the family loves we finally have a consistent great cookie! Usually use Nestle chocolate chips only or chunks with mini chocolate chips.. We prefer to have some dough as well to each bite instead of just chocolate chip overload. Recommend leaving in fridge over night.

I noticed the previous comments and cut the sugar (about 1/4 white & 1/3 brown) and cut the chocolate chips. I can’t say by how much because I just took a handful and tossed them in but it was substantially less. I made them on the small side and put them in the fridge for about an hour. I thought they were very tasty.

These were the best cookies ever!

Good and soft but not too cakey. I chose not to chill first to keep them from becoming too cakey. I also browned the butter for a different flavor. Too many chocolate chips. I also had to cook for 12 minutes instead of 9

It's good! But too many chocolate chips for me!

turned out good. The dough dried out because one of my kids uncovered it, but still came out soft and chewy. I left them in a little too long, so next time I need to pay better attention to my time.

Turned out very well. Pay attention to baking time as per instructions. I decreased the amount of sugar by about 15gm & it was still tad sweet for me. But still delish in any case.

It tasted great! The next time I make these though I might use less flour as they came out a little bit dry, but overall the recipe was really good

I added 2tsp cinnamon, I'm not sure if it was in there original recipe or not, I also used whipped cream cheese (it was all that I had) and only refrigerated the dough 30 minutes. They came out delicious!! Also, I didn't add the salt, the baking soda was plenty. It almost looked like they weren't cooking because they stayed that fluffy! Definitely making these again😊

Soft and delicious, it’s a staple in our home!

They were super soft, maybe a bit too much. Also, too much sugar and chocolate chips, way too sweet. I’d halve it

I've had better but the cookies were moist & fluffy. Held up well while baking & transferring to cool. I expected more of a sweet taste; that element was missing. I think I used to traditional such as Tollhouse~will I keep this recipe? No, I'll pass.

Very good Chocolate Chip cookies. I used my normal cookie scoop and got 36 avg sized cookies out of this recipe. Very soft and gooey cookies. I like the fact that they are mobile. Freeze the cookie balls and off to the cabin they go for fresh, hot cookies with coffees in the am.

honestly these were SO good. They were simple and delicious. They tasted great straight out of the oven and even better the next day. Very rich and soft, chewy cookies. Will be making again for sure :)

In the beginning while they were hot, i thought to myself that they aren't all that nice but omg. Leave it settle for a few hours after baking and the taste is Amazing. Darn good cookies I must say. 5 stars easy 😍I couldent get chocolate chips soo I just used a hershey milk chocolate bar. Works soo well with this.

Amazing! Great taste. I’m actually making them again but adding about a half a cup of peanut butter to it

Lilya Nay 4 years ago

Not bad overall. They came out kinda dry even though I followed the recipe to the T. I would even trying taking the cookies out sooner.

Kristin McDonald 4 years ago

Delicious! Didn’t have eggs so substituted for 3Tbs of peanut butter. Might’ve been better!
