Apply now for the Advanced Nurse Extern Program at UK King’s Daughters!Limited spots are available, so don’t let this opportunity pass you by!This 12-week program aims to allow nursing students to develop nursing skills and feel more confident in the nursing role, preparing them for their future careers.Participants will work with experienced RN preceptors and receive training in patient assessment, wound care, medication safety, pre- and post-op care, and various hands-on nursing skills. They are also exposed to different areas of nursing so they have a better understanding of which areas they may want to work in the future.Participants must be able to work full time hours for at least 10 of the 12 weeks.
